Jaysus! It's about time! It's all very well for these author types, I must say, wandering off on a whim and leaving us all high and dry, literature-wise, with nary a peep for gawd knows how many arduous weeks. You try being stuck in blinkin' flippin' Shanghai with no Hegartyisms, instead having to resort to that internationally acclaimed journalistic rag, The Shanghai Daily, which is about as captivating as a used teabag... glad you're still in the land of the living, Mr Hegarty.
