Comments: With which pure hard emperor stands as Mentor to the side

Hello Sean,

(after reading SoFo from beginning to end, I think I am entitled to call you Sean, no?)

Just to tell you about one of those wonderful experiences on the Net.

I only typed in the name of an Irish Cross-Country runner from the Olympic games in Antwerp into Google, and your site came up.

Suddenly I was transported to a world in which Samoa lies on the Indian Ocean and Scottish hitchhikers inspire one to take a bus ride through Iran.

I'll be reading SoFo regularly from now on.

Please don't stop Yelling!

Now back to Irish Olympians of 1920.

Actually the man was called Frank Hegarty and he won a silver medal with the British team (1920 - no Ireland yet) in the Cross Country.

And I have no idea why I'd wanted to know more about him in the first place!
